Albrecht DURER (1471 - 1528), "The prodigal son guarding the pigs", Burin. A very fine proof of a posthumous print circa 1580, cut on the copper in height, trimmed 2 to 3 mm in width. Slight thinning at the top edge, tiny missing corners, very small stains. Watermark close to "porte de ville" (M.275). Stamps of former collections Ch. Delanglade (Lugt 660) and S.Scheikevitch (L. 2264) on verso (Hollstein 28, Strauss 11, h/h). Dimensions: 24.7 x 18.7 cm. Expert : Sylvie Collignon
