Bartsch 88; Schoch/Mende/ Scherbaum 178; Meder 200 I a (of III f). - Outstanding, deep black, even and clear early impression with the framing line. Single barely visible little spots. Fixed to backing card at upper margin and lower centre. Verso with few remnants of old mounting. Overall in very good condition. - From the collection of Dr Ackermann and Vincent Mayer, who according to Frits Lugt were both famous for the high quality of their Dürer woodcuts.
