Album of large samples of ‘Haute-Nouveauté’ ribbons, Saint-Étienne, circa 1910–1920, mainly plain and patterned natural silk, including Peking silk, checked patterns, warp-printed fabrics, and velvet with vivid, dense floral designs. Approximately 120 designs, most of which come in a range of colours (around ten gradient samples), measuring approximately 35 x 18 and 4.5 x 18 cm.
