A sample book of silk fabrics for fashion, Lyon, entitled ‘Etoffes 1910–1911’, featuring a few plain and printed muslins, and mainly damasks, lampas, Peking silks, taffetas and printed woven fabrics, some with gold-spun weft threads. Numerous stripes, stylised floral motifs including poppies and roses, Indian flowers, cashmere variations and Gothic scrolls. Approximately 1,386 samples (a few missing from the album), 6 x 7 cm to 18 x 20 cm.
