Bears no. 185 25 x 65 x 15 cm. Some scratches and oxidation Note: Son of the politician Kristo Zankov and brother of the revolutionary George Zankov, Alexander Zankov was a sculptor and painter. He trained at the Florence Academy of Art, then at the Rome Academy of Art, which he completed in 1927, returning to Bulgaria around 1934. Some of his works are in the National Gallery in Sofia, others in museums in Kazanlak (Bulgaria) and Moscow.
