"Le Fils de l'émigré". Partly autograph manuscript. S.l.n.d. 5 pp. ½ large in-folio (280 x 440 mm) on blue paper.
Dumas relates the genesis of his play. "I stayed, as I said, three days at Arenenberg. These three days of hospitality left such a charming memory in my mind that it will be easy to explain the various episodes I have to recount that relate to this adorable person [...]".
Pages 3, 4 and part of the 5th are in the hand of a secretary.
Le Fils de l'émigré was published in Dumas's Mémoires on 5 November 1854.
