The Alfa Romeo 6 C 2500 was one of the first post-war models of the Italian car manufacturer and was produced from 1947 to 1952. The 6-cylinder engine was a development of the 6 C 2300 motor from the pre-war period. The 6C 2500SS was the most elegant variant that was developed under the direction of Vittorio Jano and Wilfredo Ricart. The chassis of the supercar was 2, 70 m long and therefore distinctly shorter than the normal 6C 2500. The International Register of the 6C 2500 notes that only 63 2-seater convertibles were built with a short wheelbase in the postwar period. Alltogether 165 vehicles were built. Alfa Romeo The history of Alfa Romeo starts in Portello, in north-west Milan, near the road to the Simplon Pass. Here the French car manufacturer Alexandre Darracq build a modern automobile plant on 36 hectares in 1906. But the produced licensed products there not prove themselves on the Italian market. So soon businessmen from the Lombardy region absorb the work and establish the Società Anonima Lombarda Fabricia Automobili (A.L.F.A.). The foundation stone was laid for more than ninety years of production of fascinating automobiles out of the house of Alfa Romeo. The BELMOT all risks insurance excludes: a) indirect and direct damages due to the normal aging process (especially rust, corrosion, oxidation) or natural wear and tear, i. e. due to a natural wear during the drive mode, on car parts which have to be replaced repeatedly during the lifetime of the vehicle; b) indirect and direct damages based on thermal problems, especially due to high temperatures, insufficient cooling while driving or overheating. The vehicle has to be paid and collected within 3 business days after the auction. The collection may be made via collection by the costumer or via collection by a transport company. A timely collection can also made via a commissioning of Auctionata to a fee-based transport (flat shipping rate). If the time period lapses without a result, the buyer has to pay storage costs in the amount of 25, - € per day.
