The distinct, slightly roundish form, designed by Ercole Spada, the then development manager, were a clear breech with contemporary taste. Several design features, such as the paned rear window, were introduced in sports coupés by various automobile manufacturers. The body of the Zagato was largely combined with proven elements from the Giulia and built on the chassis of the Spider. It was introduced at the Turin Automobile Salon in 1969. Over six years of production some 1,510 were built This Alfa red model was built in 1970 and is part of the series 1, of which some 1,108 models rolled off the belt until 1972. The car was imported to Germany in 2004 and remained in the hands of one owner until 2012. Major service was carried out recently.
