Born in Algiers in 1880, Albert Sézary was elected president of the Société française de dermatologie (1937) and of the Académie de Médecine (1945), then awarded the Légion d'honneur. He died on 1 December 1956 in Paris. His medal was made by Henry Dropsy in 1945 (Escande 294 - and see Sale on Offers iNumis 19 n° 2230).
