Rv. DAMRÉMONT. NEMOURS - D'ORLÉANS VALÉE. An ancient warrior holding a sword in one hand and a crown in the other stands on the breach of a rampart with a tower on fire, surmounted by a flag; in the exergue: PRISE DE CONSTANTINE/ LE 13 OCTOBRE/ 1837 and signature CAQUÉ.

Marks (bow) COPPER. Only minor handling marks and small stains in the brown patina. Superb condition.
All specimens are with the bow which indicates a strike between 1842 and 1845. The generals who led the attack are mentioned on the reverse of this medal.
