Larges craquelures de la résine polyester sur la partie arrière de l’oeuvre. L’aspect intérieur de la sculpture était visible (papier journal, coton, photographies n/b). La restauration a été faite sous la supervision du Professeur Iwona Szmelter, Chef conservateur d’oeuvres d’art à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Varsovie et co-auteur de l’article “The Innovative Approaches Of Complex Care For Alina Szapocznikow Legacy with Case Studies. New Insight Into Preservation Theory Of Contemporary Art”. Ci-dessous le detail de la restauration : Consolidation des craquelures de la résine polyester par des gouttes adhésives de cyanoacrylate afin d’obtenir une bonne cohésion et stabilité de la matière. Comblement des lacunes en résine polyester par l’ajout de fibre de coton sur la partie inférieure de la sculpture. Consolidation de l’ajout de la fibre de coton par les gouttes adhésives à base de cyanoacrylate. Comblement des craquelures et manques sur la surface de la sculpture via de la résine polyester diluée avec de l’acétone. Ajout de produit anti-UV. Large cracks in the polyester resin. The interior of the sculpture was therefore visible (newspaper, cotton, b/w photographs). The restoration was carried out under the supervision of Professor Iwona Szmelter, co-author of the book "The Innovative Approaches Of Complex Care For Alina Szapocznikow Legacy with Case Studies. New Insight Into Preservation Theory Of Contemporary Art". This restoration involves : -Consolidation of the cracks in the polyester resin with drops of cyanoacrylate adhesive to obtain good cohesion and stability of the material. -Filling the gaps in the polyester resin by adding cotton fibre to the lower part of the sculpture. -Consolidation of the addition of cotton fibre with cyanoacrylate-based adhesive drops. -Filling cracks and gaps on the surface of the sculpture using polyester resin diluted with acetone. -Addition of anti-UV product. -Application of anti-dust spray
