Model 1935 steel helmet painted light feldgrau then spray camouflaged with a sandy tint embellished with brown ochre and green stains, traces of the presence of a wire mesh which has left an impression in hexagons, manufacturer's marking illegible because placed under the inscription in white paint "H. CLEMENS Uffz. CLEMENS Uffz.", chinstrap missing. BE Helmet in its uncovered state with camouflage typical of the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944, it comes from the Bourges region and probably from General Botho Henning Elster's column.
