V. PREUSSEN. Bust of Victoria of Prussia left, diademed. Rv. KOCHKUNSTAUSSTELLUNG. VERBAND DEUTSCHER KÖCHE / BERLIN 1885. Allegory on the left, holding two crowns, one stretched above a kneeling angel who presents her with a dish, the right foot on a cornucopia. Gold - 31.51 g - 37.5 mm - 12 h Top Pop: this is the only graded example! PCGS SP62 (55936848). Special strike with matt relief. A stain on the reverse and traces of rubbing in the fields. Two test marks at 1 o'clock on the edge. Superb. Victoria of Prussia (1866-1929) was the daughter of Emperor Frederick III, son of William I, and Victoria of the United Kingdom, eldest daughter of Queen Victoria of England and Albert, Prince Consort. She received a well-rounded education, particularly enjoying dancing, gardening and cooking, for which she received lessons in the kitchens of the Kronprinz Palace in Berlin.
