Beautiful centred and regular strike (seems to be made with a pendulum, invented by Max Schwab around 1540). Slight circulation wear and only a few rust spots. Slight patina with bluish highlights. Almost Superb.
In 1429, the Counts of Stolberg obtained the county of Wernigerode to the north of the Harz mountains, and from then on their influence grew steadily. In 1535, they also inherited the county of Königstein in the Upper Rhine region. They have also been Counts of Rochefort (Wallonia) since 1494.
