GERMANY, MEISSEN. Porcelain oval covered soup tureen with two rocaille handles in the shape of horns of plenty with cabbages and asparagus. Decorated with Indian flowers in monochrome blue. The lid is in the shape of a young man holding a cornucopia on his lap, from which flowers spill out in relief. Marked on the inside of the body. (Fire damage to the edge of the lid, small chips to the flowers on the lid). Early 20th century. Length: 39.5 cm. Expert : Manuela Finaz de Villaine
