Germany Sabre of Honour or reward for an Officer of the Hussars of the Guard Single-branch brass mounting, lion's head pommel, filigree stingray fuse, Prussian Guard star and iron cross cruiser, curved quillon in the shape of a howling animal's head. Blade with low curvature and round back, damascus en suite, and engraved with scrolls to 2/3 with rider on one side in his departure and allegory and Prussian eagle on the other, followed by gilded in fine gold in banner of a dedication for a captain, followed by the names of his comrades officer, steel scabbard a ring, strap cannetille silver.
