Hexagonal table clock
in bronze and gilt brass, with incised decoration of wild and imaginary animals, box decorated on each side with a window decorated with birds painted on copper leaf behind a glass (one cracked).
These designs were found throughout the Germanic states from the early 17th century onwards, and several similar models are preserved in major museums such as the Fondation Bemberg (Toulouse), the Hermitage Museum (St Petersburg) and the British Museum (London).
