Fort in-8, old red morocco, triple gilt fillet, arms on covers, gilt fleur-de-lys on corners, smooth spine decorated with fleur-de-lys, blue silk endpapers, gilt edges (period binding). A copy bearing the arms of the chancellor René Nicolas de Maupéou, minister under the reign of Louis XV. The first 3 months of the annual calendar and the list of kings and queens are missing.
