Signed and numbered. - Isolated slight traces of colour inherent to the work in the left margin, verso with surface soiling. Very good overall. Splendid, rich and deep impression in the blacks with delicate plate tone, wide margins and surrounding scooped edge. One of 75 copies. Marca-Relli was an important representative of Abstract Expressionism and a member of the New York School. His characteristic abstract formal language consists of geometric compositions composed of clear, often contrasting surfaces. The technique of etching and aquatint allows subtle nuances between line and surface as well as a differentiated gradation of light and dark.
