BONE COUPLE AMULET Mesopotamian art, Archaic Dynastic period, 2600 - 2300 BC Small plate in domestic bovid (Bos taurus domesticus) bone (NR) depicting a couple dressed in striped clothing (kaunakes?), their arms brought to their chests, their heads formed by large eyes in pointed circles. There is a hole in the centre, probably for hanging the object.
