AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE RITUAL WINE VESSEL JUE 清代 仿古铜爵杯 China, Qing dynasty The deep U-shaped body is supported by three outward-splayed triangular blade legs, rising to a sharp rim set opposite a channelled spout. Flanking the spout are a pair of upright posts capped with conical finials. The exterior is cast with taotie masks featuring prominent bulging eyes, divided by three vertical flanges with crenelated edges. One side is fitted with a loop handle emerging from a bovine mask.
