An elegant katana in koshirae, mei: Echigo no Kami Kanesada dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan Shinogi-zukuri blade, Iori-mune. Nagasa: 69.6 cm. Clearly visible Hamon and hada. A non-fatal kizu near the Nakago. Nakago-jiri: Iriyamagata. Mei: Echigo no Kami Kanesada. Mekugi-ana. Shinto era, 17th century. Silver habaki. In koshirae with Maru-gata iron Tsuba from the Edo period carved, partially pierced and with remains of gilding. Iron Fuchi and Kashira (later?), large antique Menuki well worked and depicting Tora. Later Same and Tsuka-ito. With a more recent scabbard with beautiful red lacquer decorated with white inlays at the top. Complete with numbered NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho Token certificate. length 96,5 cm.
