An extremely rare imperial lime-ground famille rose porcelain teapot and cover. Marked Jiaqing Yuzhi and most probably of the period Superb teapot, decorated with plants’ shoots on a green background, and with two reserves with golden frames, containing a winter and a spring landscape. The base shows a four characters symbol in blue underglaze. A comparison with the famille rose teapot, decorated with a poem and dated 1797 (in National Palace Museum Catalogue, Taipei 2006, pl. 170), shows that the present teapot has been executed in the late Qianlong (Emperor Jiaqing' father) period.
