An important cavalry full armour dating: third quarter of the 16th Century provenance: Italy Fine, closed helmet. Skull in one piece, with medium high crest, with openings and twisted border. Fullers alongside, shaped as mirror curls. Raisable visor with eye-slots, provided with well relieved lower border and cusped in the center. Ventail ribbed in the center with rosette of ventilation holes on the right side. Beaver with hemmed edge, carved with notches, equipped with a hook. Two-plated nape-guard and neck-guard, with remains of outlines. Two rosettes and one plume-holder on the back of the skull. Some small repair, finely made and almost invisible from outside, some restored rivet.Four-plated gorget, the upper one with smooth rope, front part slightly ribbed in the center.Breast-plate ribbed in the center, with thick neckline, with twisted carving, undulated gleanings in the upper part, folding, iron rest, pauldron small-plates fixed with rivets, with thick rope, carved en suite with the neckline. Six-plated tassets, edge with a recessed band and hemmed, twisted borders, rivets with brass head. Brassards complete with seven-plated pauldrons, with hemmed and twisted borders, other parts carved en suite, rivets with brass head. Left side with a tournament buffe, with edges with a recessed band, remains of outlines and hemmed and twisted borders. Articulated knuckle-shields with sharpened cuffs, five-plated back parts and complete scaled fingers.Complete full-leg defense, ribbed in the center. Cuissards with a thick, twisted rope, knee-cop with a large wing of almost circular shape. Sabatons with plates.Leather strings and various restored rivets. Mannequin is not included.
