An impressive Illyrian helmet, type III A, 6th to 5th century B.C.
Illyrian helmet (type III A) with rectangular face cutout, wide bush track and neck guard. The edges impressively framed by a narrow punched brass band. The bushes are closed at the front and back by a crossbar. Two pierced holes at the back between the bush track and the neck guard, and one in the centre of the forehead at the front. Good metal substance with only a few small additions and stabilisations. Dimensions 32 (height) x 26 (depth) x ca. 19 cm (width).
