An impressive tachi in koshirae dating: provenance: Japan Shinogi-zukuri blade, Iori-mune. Nagasa: 76.6 cm. Clearly visible hamon and hada. Minimal kizu of non-serious type. Nakago-jiri: Kurijiri. With inscription: Mitsutada. Two Mekugi-ana. Habaki in gilded metal. In Koshirae with Tsuba Maru-gata of Edo period decorated with fretwork. Fuchi and Kashira in silver finely worked in waves. Menuki depicting bow and quiver. Same and Tsuka-ito probably later. Restored, brown laquer Saya decorated with a gilded band. length 102 cm.
