An interesting katana in shirasaya, mei: Etchu no Kami Masatoshi dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan Shinogi-zukuri blade, Iori-mune . Nagasa: 66.9 cm. Clearly visible hamon and hada. Nakago-Osuriage, Jiri: Kiri. Mei: Etchu no Kami Masatoshi (shodai). School of Mishina from Hosaka. Four Mekugi-ana. Era: early Shinto, c. 1615. Copper habaki externally foiled in silver, signed and engraved with flowers. Preserved in old Shirasaya with Saya-gaki. Complete with Hozon NBTHK certificate and with an Oshigata. length 91 cm.
