ANATOLIAN SILVER IDOL Ca. 1500 - 1000 BC. A stylised silver idol shown standing with legs apart and arms held close to the body; the left arm extends downwards, the right bent across the torso and partially covered by the garment. The figure wears a diagonally draped robe with incised folds and dotted borders. The head is square in profile, with a prominent brow, large circular eyes, and a defined jawline. The reverse is flat and unmodelled. Size: 44.1mm x 13.7mm; Weight: 6.5g Provenance: Private UK collection; previously acquired on the Holland art market in the 1990s.
