Offering bowl with "Yellow Lion" decoration from the Royal Court Kitchen
Oval, moulded shape. Large kakiemon decoration in the centre with a yellow lion winding around a blue bamboo stick. A blossoming prunus tree standing nearby and scattered flower arrangements. Sea buckthorn-coloured rim. Inscribed "Hof=Küche." in the ground. Unmarked to rim; traces of age and use. Centreboard mark. 33.5 cm x 23.5 cm.
