André Ramseyer, a Swiss sculptor, trained with Léon Perrin (1886-1978) and in Paris with teachers from the Montmartre and Montparnasse Academies. After passing through the studio of Ossip Zadkine (1890-1967) in 1948, he gradually moved towards abstraction. Our work bears witness to the culmination of his research, with its variation on the circle and its taste for the contrast between full and empty.
