Conçu en 1963 with the stamps of the Estate Andy Warhol and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, initalled VF and numbered 115.089 in pencil on the reverse unique screenprint collage on coloured papers For further information on this lot please visit the Bonhams website In addition to the catalogue entry: FRONT - the lower sheet edge of the most inferior sheet of the collage presents several horizontal and small curved ink cracks with associated small areas of ink loss which are most likely touched in - a 21 cm vertical fine ink crack running from the lower sheet edge up to Cocteau's chin. - remains of glue staining from the scoth tape used to attatch the sheets of the collage verso; this is due to the artist's choice of the medium - a rubbed area to the left edge of the fucsia sheet - a diagonal crease with an associated ink crackto the upper left corner of the top sheet; a further diagonal crease to the right upper corner of the lower sheet THE REVERSE: all the ink cracks aforementioned in the lower sheet edge have been skilfully repaired as well as the ink cracks in the upper corners - the sheets are attached with sctoch tape (as issued by Warhol) - squared felt tabs on three places along sheet edges and also across the centre of the sheet - offsetting black and pink printing inks inherint to production process Generally in good condition.
