YEARS 1880 LARGE NEO-RENAISSANCE ENAMEL PENDANT The medallion bears a "lady of quality" miniature wearing a tiara, earring, necklace and two brooches set with applied rose-cut diamonds. The ensemble is topped by a brilliant-cut cushion diamond in foliage and bears a fine pearl pendant. On the back, an opening medallion adorned with a glass. Gross weight: 28.65g. (black cord with 18K yellow gold clasp, later) Dimensions: 6.5 cm x 4 cm. In a René Boivin jewellery box. THE MAISON RENÉ BOIVIN ANTIQUAIRE The first pages of Françoise Cailles' book "René Boivin Joailler" reproduce pages from the stock books of antique jewellery and collectors' items offered by the firm to its customers. On discovering this mid-twentieth century case, we can suggest a neo-renaissance piece from the 1880s from this old collection. Reference: CAILLES, Françoise. "René Boivin Joailler", Édition de l'Amateur, 1994, p. 50 and 51. A diamond, blue, white and pink enamel, natural pearls and 18K yellow gold pendant, circa 1880. Gross weight : 28,65 gr. (black cord with 18K yellow gold clasp, rear) Dimensions : 6,5cm x 4cm. René Boivin shaped box.
