Lieutenant in the Cap regiment, Louis-René Potier de Pommeroy, emigrated in July 1793, first to the Spanish eastern part of the island, then enlisting in the English army of occupation in the western part. He returned to the French army and became aide-de-camp to General Léonard Muller. - Garcia y Moreno (Joaquin). Signed as Governor and Captain General of the Spanish part of the island of Santo Domingo. Santiago [now Santiago-De-Los-Caballeros in the Dominican Republic], 5 August 1794. Pass to go to one of the ports held by the English, stating that the recipient has sworn loyalty to the King of Spain. - Forbes (Gordon). Signed as Commander-in-Chief of the English troops in Saint-Domingue. Port-au-Prince, 25 October 1796. Appointment as second major in the regiment of chasseurs known as Prince Edward.
