The second state with additional title in large caracters renders the situation of Antwerp in 1525 with street view, blocks of houses and medieval fortifications, likewise represented on the anonymous "Antwerpia in Brabantia" (c. 1525). Additional is the representation of the later finished fortifications. The Venetian engraver Fabio Licinio (1521-1565) worked closely together with the famous cosmographer Giacomo Gastaldi. Their maps, and a second map of Antwerp by Licinio in particular, made part of many so-called "Lafreri"-atlases, atlases assembled on demand.
