APHRODITE AND EROS IN MARBLE Roman art, circa 2nd century AD Sculpted group depicting the goddess Aphrodite, headless and with missing arms, half-naked, draped simply in a himation under her hips. To her right stands a small winged Eros carrying a bunch of fruit. Missing.
