APULIAN LEBES GAMIKOS WITH LADY OF FASHION. Ca. 350 BC. A red-figure lebes gamikos with tall upstanding handles and a domed lid with a lekythos-shaped finial. The ovoid body stands on a moulded stem and broad disc foot. Each face shows a "Lady of Fashion" in profile with a beaded fillet, necklace and earrings. The shoulder carries a tongue frieze, and large palmette fans appear beneath the handles. The lid features a wave band encircling radiating rays around the finial.
