APULIAN RED-FIGURE HYDRIA WITH LADY OF FASHION. Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A terracotta hydria with a broad, rounded body, a short neck, and a flaring rim, with two horizontal handles at the shoulder and a third vertical handle connecting the neck to the body. The front presents a female head in profile, adorned with a sakkos decorated with dotted bands, a beaded necklace, and earrings highlighted with added white. The reverse displays a palmette framed by voluted tendrils.
