APULIAN STAMNOS WITH POINTED LID
Ca. 550 - 450 BC.
A pottery lidded stamnos with a domed cover topped by a pointed finial. The body is rounded, set on a slightly flaring foot, and flanked by two angled handles. Broad black bands wrap around the vessel and lid, with stylised motifs painted on the shoulder.
