APULIAN XENON WARE KYLIX WITH SWAN
Ca. 350 BC. A terracotta kylix with a broad shallow bowl and twin high-swung handles set horizontally. The interior depicts a central swan in applied red on a black-glaze ground, encircled by a wreath formed of olive leaves. The exterior is fully glazed, with the underside reserved within a circular foot. For similar see: Musée Saint-Raymond, Inventory number 26367.
