APULIAN XENON WARE OINOCHOE Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A black-glazed oinochoe with a trefoil mouth and a single strap handle extending from the shoulder to the rim. The shoulder is decorated with a band of vertical red strokes, beneath which is a central frieze of laurel leaves. A broad chevron band encircles the lower section. The vessel rests on a disc-shaped foot with a reserved band above.
