Cavalry rifle model 1793 with walnut frame, octagonal barrel rifled slightly trombloné punched on the upper side just in front of a groove engraved acting as sights (punch worn, one distinguishes the bonnet phrygien), flat body with swan neck hammer engraved "Mafre à Versailles" punch "V3" under bonnet phrygien indicating the inspector of the 3rd Division, brass trimmings, iron rod, cheek stock. L: 78 cm, barrel: 40 cm. Revolution-Consulate period. The barrel has been cleaned, period engraving under the stock. ABE
