Flintlock rifle model 1774 called "of the general inspectors" with walnut mounting, iron trimmings, nasturtium with beak, round barrel with sides to the thunder, tail of breech engraved "AN", lock with round body model 1774 with right bassinet out of iron and with the foot of battery without retroussis, marked of the royal manufacture of St-Etienne and punch "EI" with the crown of the controller, rod out of iron, bayonet with casing not of the model. L: 148 cm, barrel: 109 cm. Rifle in conformity with the regulation of 1774 although shorter, the marking "AN" of the tail of breech attests a use under the Revolution. Late 18th century. The trigger guard support and grenadière spring have been rebuilt to the model, and the rear ramrod has been replaced from the nasturtium. Orange peel metal. ABE
