Pair of Liège made flintlock pommel pistols, blond walnut mounts, round barrels with thunderbolts stamped "ELG" in an oval, brass fittings stamped with a crown, round-bodied locks, brass basins, iron ramrods. L: 39 cm, barrel: 22 cm. Early 19th century. BE The hallmarks of the locks and fittings to the crown indicate that they are regulatory pistols of a monarchical state probably German as Prussia.
