Cavalry and dragoon model 1733 flintlock pistol with walnut frame, brass fittings, round then octagonal thunder barrel hallmarked "JL" under crown, flat-body lock signed "DUCHON", hallmarked "S.E" under crown indicating Saint-Etienne, flat hammer with swan neck, bassinet out of iron with sides, counter-plate, cap out of brass with long tail, trigger guard and holders rods out of brass, stick out of wooden with iron head (remade later). L: 49.5 cm, barrel: 31 cm. Louis XV period. ABE Gabriel DUCHON associated with his brother Jacques received important royal orders, in particular 19000 rifles in 1755, he produced pistols 1733 at the same time as Simon Jourjon.
