Curved, double-edged blade with central ridge, similar to that of a Jambiya from the Arabian Peninsula, cross-shaped guard similar to that of a shamshir, handle in the classic shape of a Jambiya, made of horn, partially covered with a sheet of silver-plated metal, engraved and chased all over and decorated with two lions' heads embossed on the pommel. Black leather scabbard. Length 30.5 cm. Minor damage to the decoration on the handle. Provenance: José Henry collection.
