Walloon cavalry sword, iron frame with pear-shaped pommel, guard with two main prongs with median balls and screwed joint arches, wooden spindle covered with twisted wire filigree, curved quillon, poucier, bivalve bridge in the shape of a pierced heart, semi-curved blade with wide gutter whose flat back is split over 24 cm approximately, reconstituted brown leather scabbard with 2 iron trimmings, modern tie. Late 17th century. L: 98 cm, blade: 83.5 cm. Wear and tear, small cracks on the bridge, blunt blade. ABE
