Foot service sword of the 1st Company of the Musketeers of the King's Household, gilt brass fittings, wooden spindle covered with a silver filigree, pommel in the form of an urn chased with mufles of the remains of the Nemean lion, branch decorated in the centre with a fleur-de-lys, shell decorated with a silver cross in the centre, fleurons and palmettes at the ends, straight hollow-point blade with bluing and gilding in the first third signed "S & K" at the heel (Schnitzler & Kirschbaum in Solingen), leather scabbard with 2 gilded brass fittings, palmette-shaped cap knob.
