Uniform sword, model 1816, for a senior officer in the Royal Corps of Chasseurs de France, single-edged silver-plated brass frame, pommel chased with acanthus leaves and a fleur-de-lys on a matte background, keyboard decorated with a hunting horn framed with oak and laurel leaves, within which are 3 fleurs-de-lys, squared walnut spindle, double-edged blade, blued and gilt, engraved with scrolls and trophies of arms in the first quarter.
