Dragoon sword model 1781 with brass mounting, guard in "half basket" with 3 branches monobloc (remainders of punches), cap not with the model, wooden fusée covered with basane and a double filigree out of twisted copper wire, flat right blade engraved on the back "Daniel KIRSCHBAUM, manufacturier d'armes blanches de la marque au raisin a SAHLINGEN", then stamped with its hallmark in an oval, strong leather scabbard without ribs with 3 fittings, iron strap and cap decorated with line (of the type in use in 1770), brass bolt with iron stinger, modern tie. L: 112.7 cm, blade: 97 cm. Slight deformation of the guard, but sabre in its regulation length. ABE
