[ARMES]. The Office of Holy Week according to the Roman messel and breviary. Paris, Sébastien Hure, 1644. In-8° bound in full garnet morocco, ribbed spine decorated and gilt with crowned numerals, gilt lace framing a semé of fleurdelisé irons alternating with the crowned numeral "MT", boards stamped with the crowned arms of Queen Maria Theresa of Austria in the centre, gilt roulette to the edges, gilt tr. (Period binding). Decorated with 12 out-of-text figures by Callot, and 3 unsigned engravings. Copy entirely ruled in red, bearing the arms of Maria Theresa of Austria (1638-1683). Daughter of Philip IV and Elisabeth of France, she was queen of France and Navarre through her marriage to Louis XIV. Fairly good condition despite defects to the binding showing old restorations.
